I’m Juliet Lee Ann (JLA for short); a lesbian portrait photographer and creative director based in NYC! I shoot both digital and film!

My Approach
My photography is centered around people, the outdoors, connection and confidence.
I grew up in NYC so I naturally gravitate to outdoor & nature environments since there's endless beauty and hidden gems around the city.
I explore all the different ways we connect. How we connect to ourselves, to each other, to the brands and ideas we believe in, and to the world around us.
I treat each photo as if it's a piece of your heart. Whether it's a photo of your brand or of you, I treat your images with love and care. I listen carefully to your vision, goals, and the small details you want your images to consist of; ensuring your photos are a true representation of you and your brand.

The JLA Archives
Founded by juliet lee ann
The JLA Archives is my independent press, founded from a lifelong love of photography books, magazines, and printed media. Photographs deserve a place to exist and last in the physical world. Through the Archives, I create and publish original visual work exploring womanhood, connection, nature, and the complexity of the human experience.
Each project transforms unseen/unspoken emotions and personal experience’s into something that can be seen, felt, and held. The work evolves into books, magazines, exhibitions, and collectible printed publications; creating physical stories that can be shared, experienced, and returned to for years to come.
